All About Me!
I’m a Mathematics educator with over fifteen years of experience teaching across the United States, China, Kazakhstan, and India. Currently, I teach at the American School of Bombay, where I’ve had the privilege of learning from students with diverse cultural and educational backgrounds. My goal is to make math meaningful and inclusive—to create classrooms where students feel seen, challenged, and supported as they grow into confident, capable thinkers.
My professional journey has also led me to pursue a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Louisiana Monroe. My research focuses on identity, belonging, and academic achievement in international schools. I’m especially passionate about exploring how culturally responsive mathematics instruction can help students connect more deeply with the subject and see themselves reflected in what they learn.
WithMsE is a reflection of my professional and personal growth—a space where I share my ideas, classroom experiences, and resources for educators who care about equity and engagement. Whether I’m collaborating with colleagues, mentoring students, or contributing to discussions on curriculum and design, I’m committed to creating learning environments that center curiosity, compassion, and community.

American School of Bombay – Mumbai, India
As a Secondary Mathematics Teacher at the American School of Bombay, I teach AERO Mathematics for Grades 7–10 and IB Diploma Mathematics for Grades 11–12. My work focuses on designing rigorous, inclusive, and culturally responsive math experiences that inspire curiosity and confidence. I have led the vertical alignment of the math curriculum, helped redesign the Grade 7 course to integrate inquiry-based learning, and facilitated department-wide professional development on technology integration using TI-Nspire. In addition to mentoring teachers in other schools through the ASB Teacher Academy, I have served as a Grade Level Leader for three years, fostering collaboration and coherence across the various teams I worked with.
Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools – Shymkent, Kazakhstan
At Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools in Shymkent, I taught Cambridge-aligned mathematics courses, including Pure Mathematics and Statistics, to highly motivated secondary students. Beyond instruction, I contributed to curriculum integration and professional development, supporting both local and international staff in lesson planning, SAT and IELTS preparation, and pedagogical best practices. Acting as a liaison between overseas faculty and school leadership, I helped strengthen communication, consistency, and collaboration across the department, advancing the school’s vision for globally competitive education.
Dipont Education – Nanjing, China
During my time with Dipont Education, I served as both a Secondary Mathematics Teacher and Assistant Head of Department, teaching advanced courses such as AP Calculus, AP Statistics, A-Level Mathematics, and IB HL Math. I played a key role in curriculum development and technology integration, designing engaging, student-centered learning activities that prepared learners for international examinations. In addition, I led professional development workshops at annual conferences and contributed to departmental leadership through data analysis, assessment coordination, and mentoring of new teachers.
South Cobb High School – Georgia, USA
I began my teaching career at South Cobb High School, where I taught Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, and Statistics under Georgia’s Common Core standards. As part of the Advanced Algebra Data Team, I contributed to the department’s highest growth in student achievement during the 2012–2013 school year. I also mentored new teachers in classroom management and lesson planning, laying the foundation for my ongoing commitment to coaching and supporting educators in professional growth.
